Two new paintings

Normally my work method is gathering drawings and photographs together first, then producing a small watercolour sketch that I scale-up from, using the colours as a guide, though these colours may be revised as I work on the painting.
For these two new works I thought I'd be a little more spontaneous - putting a basic outline drawing straight onto the canvas, then using colours as they occured to me, with no clear idea of the outcome.
I decided to record the process on a daily basis so that I could see how the painting had developed. These are the results.
